Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can anyone float?

Yes! It can be great for everyone, including pregnant women. Minors are required to have parental permission and may be required to have adult supervision inside the float room. We highly recommend those suffering from any medical conditions to consult their physicians prior to participating in any sessions offered.

  • What if I am claustrophobic?

People with claustrophobia consistently report no problem with floating. You have complete control of your experience. You may choose to leave your lid open, or even leave it cracked open if desired.

  • Can I drown if I fall asleep?

Some people do fall asleep, but the water is buoyant, so you stay afloat.

  • How are the pods kept clean?

Salt is a natural anti-microbial and antiseptic, especially at the high concentration present in the float pods. Every guest showers in house before starting a float session. The water is filtered between each client, where it is also disinfected by UV lighting and ozone. Between each client, a dose of 35% hydrogen peroxide is added to the water.

  • Do I need an appointment?

Yes, all services require an appointment as store hours may vary and sessions may be occupied. A credit card is used to reserve all sessions, including gift cards, to prevent and cover no call no shows and encourage a proper cancellation of 24 hours.

  • What do I wear?

Float therapy is done in the nude, and most choose to do the sauna nude. We have everything you will need for your sessions including towels, robes, hair dryer, curling iron, and straightener.

  • How often should I use your services?

Almost all sessions can be done on a daily basis. Everyone is different and come for different reasons. For best results, regular sessions are recommended. Set up a free consult to speak with an employee to formulate the best plan specific to your needs.
